At Evides Industriewater we use research in a targeted manner: to improve our services and to better respond to the specific requirements of our customers. In doing so, we focus on the long term. Every day, we investigate how we can make our installations more efficient, flexible, and future-proof using smart technology and practical testing.

Environmentally friendly technologies

Sustainability is an integral part of our strategy. We continuously develop and test environmentally friendly technologies, such as:

• wastewater recovery;
• reuse of raw materials from water flows.

In addition, we apply asset management to ensure that installations perform reliably and efficiently over the long term. This reduces the Total Cost of Ownership and makes it possible to respond flexibly to changing production needs.

Three forms of research

1. Customer research

Together with the client, we define the research question. Based on this, we develop solutions that align with the specific situation. This collaborative process results in custom solutions that work in practice.

2. Operational investigation

We test technical solutions in an operational environment. First on a small scale, then on a larger scale. In this way, we test continuity, reliability, and applicability in practice.

3. Technological research

New membranes, measuring instruments, or auxiliary materials are constantly entering the market. We investigate whether and how we can deploy these innovations within industrial processes. In this way, we accelerate the application of proven technology in your installation.

Knowledge development

Water purification requires knowledge of diverse disciplines: physics, chemistry, process and civil engineering, data analysis, and statistics. Our specialists therefore work closely with universities of applied sciences, universities, and knowledge institutes. Together, we explore new techniques, test existing assumptions, and translate insights into practical applications.
